Your sisters need your help.
Sister!Act! is about women looking out for each other. And because of recent cuts in government funding, Planned Parenthood of West and Northern Michigan must deny reproductive health care to thousands of financially disadvantaged women. That’s thousands of your "sisters" – some of our community’s most vulnerable residents – now without access to much needed health care. Compromising their overall health. Putting them at risk for unintended pregnancy. Breast and cervical cancer. Sexually transmitted infections. And more.
For many of these women, Planned Parenthood of West and Northern Michigan is their only source of health care and their only link to the health care community. They depend on us. And we don’t want to let them down. But we need your help.
Rally for your sisters. And give.
Your gift of $150 will provide one year of reproductive health care for a woman below poverty level. Examples of services include:
- Comprehensive physical exam
- Cancer screening (breast and reproductive)
- Screening and treatment for sexually transmitted infections
- Birth control methods
Because family is everything.
You might not ever meet these sisters in need. But your gift is critical to ensuring they receive the care they need. Reach out to a sister in need. Because if sisters don’t support sisters, who will?
